Students from the Repairer of the Breaches School of Cazale, the children’s television CazaleTVPologne under the guidance of their instructors, celebrated the 52nd anniversary of the Cazale tragedy in 1969. It was then that, on the order of the then Haitian dictator François Duvalier, also known as Papa Doc, 23 inhabitants of this town were brutally murdered, 21 of whom had Polish roots. We invite you to watch an interview with the wife of one of the murdered inhabitants of Cazale. https://youtu.be/qc5gJ5IhizM At this point, a group of Poles living in the country and in America, founded a plaque commemorating this fact and informing about the joint struggle of Haitians and Poles to gain independence for Haiti. It was an important fact in the history of our nations, confirmed by an entry in the Constitution of Haiti. If you are interested, please visit our website https://www.polonianahaiti.pl. ,
